My Clients
Feeling overwhelmed by the mental load? Tired and burnt out? Come and sit with me so we can discuss ways to help you regulate your nervous system and be your best self again.
I have a passion to serve and work with parents. As a parent to young children myself, I understand the unique challenges facing this demographic and seek to empower and facilitate healing in the parents around me. I have a background in mental health that extends to a wide variety of issues including relational issues, trauma, abuse, perinatal and postpartum mental health and grief work surrounding fertility struggles and pregnancy loss.
Perinatal, Postpartum & Parents
Some of my darkest and brightest moments have come while pregnant and in the throes of postpartum and parenting. Pregnancy and postpartum affect both women and men differently, but it is important to know that you are not alone if you are dealing with intrusive thoughts, depression, anxiety or rage. You will be welcomed into my space with a cup of coffee or tea and a listening ear to process your experiences.
Adolescents (ages 12 and up)
Embarking on the journey from childhood to adolescence can be challenging for girls in this stage of life. Changes in one's body and mood can be unsettling and big emotions may be difficult to cope with. I can provide helpful coping strategies and a safe space to process stressful or traumatic incidents as needed.
Young Adults
They were the best of times, they were the worst of times. Entering into adulthood can often come with a myriad of unexpected challenges. External (and internal) pressures to choose one's life path, find a life partner and continue to establish a sense of self can be daunting. I look forward to embarking on a self-discovery journey with you through understanding and learning about your core beliefs and parts that make up who you are.
Teens
Body image, friendships, questions about sexuality, feelings of hopelessness and anxiety are just a few of the struggles of teenagers. Through relationship-building, I draw from a self-compassion lens when working with this age group as teens can be so needlessly hard on themselves.
Trying-To-Concieve
When you've been asked one too many times, "When are you two going to start having babies?" and the grief is beginning to degrade not only you but also your partner's resolve, I can help. I provide emotionally-focused grief therapy for couples and individuals struggling with fertility as well as those who have painfully endured miscarriage and pregnancy loss.
Don't fit one of these boxes? Don't worry.
